Please, thank you, or respectful pleading — not only prayer

Asking for a favour: "please 🙏"
Thanking someone for something that genuinely helped

Watch out In English it is primarily gratitude and request, not worship. Sending 🙏 to a religious person in a religious context is fine; sending it as "praying for you" to a non-religious person can feel odd.

How to use it Click the copy button above to grab 🙏, then paste it into iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, Instagram, X or any text field. Emoji are standard Unicode characters, so they work everywhere — iOS, Android and Windows each draw them in their own style.

Display support This emoji was added in Emoji 0.6 (2010). It renders on iOS 6 and later, and on Android 4.4 and later — older systems show a box or a black-and-white glyph.
